"Kitty's First Words"

This album has been in the works for over five years. I have worked on it one week at a time each year. The title has evolved from "Pete Sounds" (abandoned after I read that Pete Wylie - a luminary in an early-80s Liverpudlian scene near and dear to my heart, no less - had the audacity to steal the title that I had copyrighted secretly in my head) to "Subanimal Sounds" to "The Eternal Meow," and finally, to "Kitty's First Words," where it rests today.

I plan on posting more songs here as I get acclimated to "the Internet." For now we have the three songs that have been fully mixed by Griffin Rodriguez in Chicago. Griffin also worked on Beirut's last album, so as you can see, I am a Big Deal. My imaginary valet, Jeeves, agrees.

For further information on the songs, and for lyrics, I'd like to tell you to click around on this site, but I'm still working on it... In the meantime, you can probably find lyrics to The Eternal Meow, at least, with a little hunting.
